Message	Not saying we dont believe or agree with you. I'm certain that some of those cracks are due to scratches in the paint. Since I live near you, I know what you are talking about. Except as far as I can recall, I never had those type of patterns on the hood. But my hood was repainted (before, was full of visible cracks specially around where the hot exhaust manifolds hit the hood, etc.. and they did a good job. Was back round '02, and it's ~90% garaged since. Perhaps those cracks are due to aging paint. I see cracks like that on house paint, why not a car? This is why I dont like to obsessively: rub-a-dub, rub again, rinse/repeat, buff, polish, the car very often, so I keep that shit as rare as needed.
